Following Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger mocking him in June, Corey Taylor's fans have responded with a rather nasty group chant.
"F**k Nickelback! F**k Nickelback!" a crowd of them yell in unison as the Stone Sour frontman beams on stage in footage of the band's performance at Chicago Open Air festival.
Taylor, who also fronts Slipknot, proceeds to refer to Kroeger as a "dick" and urges the audience of "beautiful crazy bitches" to "make some f**king noise", before launching into 2002 track 'Bother'.
Kroeger labelled Stone Sour "Nickelback-lite" in the interview with Metal Covenant and dismissed Slipknot as a "gimmick band".
"[Stone Sour] is okay, but they're not as good as Nickelback," Kroeger said, adding that Taylor's band is yet to make "a hit".
Since the interview, Taylor has responded by saying Kroeger is an idiot whose face resembles a foot and stated that Nickelback is to rock what KFC is to chicken.
