Set in 1989 Berlin, just before the wall crumbles, Atomic Blonde follows superspy Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) on a fight-filled mission to expose double agents.
There's a very cool aesthetic and soundtrack to this film, but where it really shines is in the spectacularly done, R-rated action.
One fight in particular is an instant classic - a truly standout sequence that fits nicely alongside The Raid movies, the John Wick movies and the work of Scott Adkins.
It's a little disappointing in the story department, with a needlessly muddled plot that isn't always engaging.
But for a super stylish action flick that doesn't skimp on the violence, Atomic Blonde is mint.
