Kiwi radio star Grant Kareama married his new wife Lisa Brocklesby this weekend, two years after he and broadcasting co-host Polly Gillespie announced their split on air.

Kereama and Brocklesby reportedly wed at Brackenridge Retreat, in Wairarapa.

Gillespie and Kereama shocked listeners in 2015 with the announcement they were separating after 24 years of marriage.

Since early 2016 new couple Kereama and Brocke have been openly loved-up on social media, with Kareama calling her "my darling" in Facebook posts.

He posted a photo of the happily wedded couple on Facebook on Saturday, captioned with a heart emoji.

Gillespie also took to Facebook, sharing an emotional post on Friday with her thoughts on Kereama's new marriage.

"Tomorrow my buddy, ex husbsnd [sic], forever workmate and father of my three gorgeous kids, is marrying a wonderful woman," she wrote.

Gillespie said was feeling "blessed", "wistful" and "proud".

"I feel so blessed to have shared so much of my life with a man who follows a strict personal code of honour. Grant is an honourable man who would do anything for his friends.

"My heart is filled with warmth when I see how happy Lisa makes him, and how he is completely devoted to her and her happiness."

Gillespie also said she was sad she couldn't be at the wedding but understood why.

She also shared a snap of one of the couple's three children at the wedding, captioning it "My darling daughter at her papa's wedding. Juggling wedding and 4 week old bubba. My wee supermommy!!!"
