Francis Bean Cobain, daughter of Kurt Cobain, reportedly earns $139 thousand dollars ($100 thousand USD) each month from Nirvana's publicity rights.
That's on top of her net worth of $15.7 million ($11.3 million USD) in stocks, bonds and property.
The details were revealed in the court documents for Ms Cobain's divorce from Isaiah Silva, according to The Blast.
Ms Cobain holds a one third stake in Kurt Cobain's estate, in a trust fund which she inherited in 2010. Nirvana sells hundreds of thousands of albums and singles every year on top of revenue from streaming and radio plays, twenty three years on from Kurt Cobain's death.
Following the release of the report Ms Cobain has posted a photo of her father on Instagram with the caption "Don't believe everything you read."
