Naz's next show revealed? The Bachelor Winter Games announced

A new The Bachelor spin-off has been revealed and features several international fan-favourite contestants - potentially including New Zealand's very own Naz.

The Bachelor Winter Games has been announced on Twitter by franchise founder Mike Fleiss, who says 12 different nations will be represented.

It'll feature "arch rivals and villains" from previous seasons of The Bachelor around the world and promises to "take competitive dating to a chilling new level".

Nazanin 'Naz' Khanjani, star of The Bachelor NZ's 2016 season, teased fans in September with some "exciting news" about a "massive opportunity" on US television, but couldn't say much about it.

Contacted by Newshub today, she gave a firm "no comment" on if the opportunity was or was not The Bachelor Winter Games.

Today, the first contestant of the show has been revealed as Peter Kraus, who was the runner-up in the 2017 season of The Bachelorette, with Rachel Lindsay choosing Bryan Abasolo over him.

The Bachelor Winter Games will feature contestants from the US, Japan, Australia, Canada and the UK, among other countries, says ABC representative Robert Mills.

While contestants will indeed feature athletic competitions, "at the end of the day, it's going to be about finding love again," says Mills.

The Bachelor Winter Games is set to air in the US in February - the same month as the official 2018 Winter Olympics.
