Rumours are swirling after The Bachelor NZ star Lily McManus posted snaps of Married At First Sight NZ groom Luke Cederman on her bed, the day after her birthday.
The pair appear to be casually hanging out in her Instagram story, which shows them lying on the bed cracking jokes.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the witty duo out for a drink together only weeks ago, fuelling rumours they could be in a relationship.
But McManus was quick to shut that down, telling Newshub he was "just a mate".
"I find it really hilarious. We just went and grabbed a beer. It was just casual and really mellow but I can see how it looked a bit suss."
However, her recent photos have reignited gossip.
McManus was the runner-up in this year's season of The Bachelor NZ, but remains good friends with winner Viarni Bright.

The birthday girl posted a series of photos to her Instagram story on Friday night. She celebrated with newly single Bright, vowing to post a photo counting every drink she consumed.
On Saturday morning she apologised for only counting up to six, saying she lost her phone, but reassured fans she consumed 21.
