The man behind children's movies Toy Story, Wall-E and Frozen has taken a leave of absence from Pixar studios following sexual misconduct allegations.
According to a report by THR, Chief Creative officer John Lasseter was known by long term employees for "grabbing, kissing, [and] making comments about physical attributes."
Another source alleged, "You'd hug him and he'd whisper in your ear, a long time".
He announced his departure just before the allegations were published on Tuesday.
According to Variety, Lasseter published an internal memo in which he "deeply apologised", stating "It's been brought to my attention that I have made some of you feel disrespected or uncomfortable. That was never my intent."
Despite these allegations Lasseter is only taking a six month leave of absence and is expected to return to work in 2018.
Disney has not cut ties with Lasseter, telling Variety that it appreciated "John's candor and sincere apology" and would "fully support his sabbatical."
