George Zimmerman, the killer of Trayvon Martin in 2012, has threated to "beat" Jay-Z and feed him to an alligator over a documentary the rapper is producing.

In an interview with The Blast, Zimmerman claims producer Michael Gasparro and '99 Problems' rapper Jay are harassing his Florida family for interviews.

He also says an unknown amount of money was paid to his ex-wife, so she'd be in the documentary.

"I know how to handle people who f**k with me, I have since February 2012," Zimmerman told the hip hop site, a reference to the month he killed the unarmed black teen.

"Anyone who f***s with my parents will be fed to an alligator," he added.

Snoop Dogg came in to defend Jay Z on Instagram; writing: "If one hair on jays hair is touched that's when the revolution will b televised".

"We one and to thank the system let the Bitch ass muthaf**a get away with murder try it again…. Trayvon Martin Gone but not forgotten."

The six-part docu-series was set to be titled Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, based on the book Suspicion Nation by lawyer Lisa Bloom.  The fate of the project is unclear, given it was to be produced with the Weinstein Company.

Jay-Z has not responded to Zimmerman.
