Sir Paul McCartney is in New Zealand and he's loving it.
The 75-year-old Beatles rocker posted a video from what appears to be Hawke's Bay on Thursday afternoon. It's believed he touched down via private jet on Wednesday night.
"Hey there! OK, so I finally got to NZ," McCartney, wearing a navy jumper and jeans, says to the camera.
"Wow, it's been a little while. It's beautiful, look at that!" [gestures to background].
"Looking forward to the gig on Saturday night in Auckland.
"Come on, let's rock!"
He captioned the video: "Finally in NZ x".
McCartney will only play one show while he's here, at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on Saturday night. He flew in from Australia, where he's been touring this month.
Sir Paul was last in New Zealand in 1993, as part of The New World Tour.
