Kiwi musician Fazerdaze will join headliners Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The line-up was announced on Wednesday (NZ time) and confirmed earlier reports of the top-billed trio.

Fazerdaze is an Auckland-based, VNZMA-nominated artist who appears to be the only New Zealander performing at Coachella this year.

Her feature-length debut Morningside was released last year and was described by Pitchfork as "what happens when a bedroom pop record gets too big for just a single room, but all the while never loses its intimacy".

Other artists announced for Coachella 2018 include Jamiroquai, Haim, Migos, David Byrne, A Perfect Circle, Cardi B, St. Vincent, Tyler the Creator, Alt-J, Odesza, Soulwax, Sza, Fleet Foxes and Jean-Michel Jarre.

The event is set to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California for two weekends, April 13 - 15 and April 20 - 22.
