Taika Waititi has once again proved he is one of our most successful exports, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood A-listers at the 2018 Golden Globes.
The Thor: Raganarok director shared a photo on Instagram of his table for the evening, accompanied by fellow Thor actor Chris Hemsworth and Maleficent actress Angelina Jolie.
"Whatever," Waititi jokingly captioned the snap.
"New Zealander of the Year 42 years in a row. #Ragnawrecked"
Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky commented on the photo, saying "what a great couple! I mean you boys!"
The 2017 New Zealander of the Year was one of a slew of Hollywood stars who wore black as part of a silent protest against sexual misconduct and gender imbalance in Hollywood. Waititi donned a full black tux and shirt, complete with one of the 'Time's Up' pins launched as part of the movement.
