Former child star Macaulay Culkin has revealed the abuse he allegedly suffered at the hands of his "jealous" father.
The 37-year-old, who rose to fame in the 1990s with the Home Alone franchise, claims his father was "mentally and physically" abusive towards him.

"He was just a bad dude," Culkin told Marc Maron on the WTF podcast. "A bad, abusive man - he was a piece of work."
Kit Culkin took his young son to auditions, supervised him on film sets and managed aspects of his career. Culkin alleges his father would threaten him, telling him, "Do good or I'll hit you."
"I'm going around the country, locked in a room with a man who didn't like me."
He claims his father was jealous of his success as a child actor.
"Everything he tried to do in life, I excelled at before I was 10 years old."
Culkin took a long hiatus from acting when his parents split in 1994, which he told Maron was "one of the best things to ever happen to me".
He sued his parents for US$17 million (NZ$23 million) at the age of 15, and didn't appear in another film until 2003's Party Monster.
"Eventually I was like, 'I'm done guys. Hope you all made your money because there is no more coming from me,'" he said.
