Steve Carrell and Kelly Clarkson were finally united at the Golden Globes, 13 years after he screamed her name during that infamous scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
In the 2005 film, Carrell plays a middle-aged man who is on a journey to lose his virginity. During an excruciating scene in which he has his chest waxed, Carrell yells out "Ahhh Kelly Clarkson!" amidst a string of expletives.
Despite the iconic moment, the two had never met before.
That all changed at the Globes on Sunday (local time) when the 55-year-old actor ran into the 35-year-old Grammy winner. Carrell posted a photo of the pair on Twitter, captioning the pic, "Finally."
Clarkson retweeted the image, saying: "One of my favourite moments of my life! I love you and your lovely wife!"
The 'Since U Been Gone' singer hasn't been shy about wanting to meet Carrell.
Speaking to Today in November 2017, Kelly said: "I've yet to meet Steve Carrell and I want to be like, 'So was it a compliment?'.
"I do feel [ripped off] though, because I've never met him, and I'm a huge fan. It was kind of a pop culture moment and I haven't even met him."
