Oscar-nominated Taika Waititi has busted double Oscar-winner Hilary Swank trying to smuggle an apple out of New Zealand.
"Straight to Taika jail! "CrookedHilary #LockHerUp," the Thor: Ragnarok director joked on social media.
Swank, who won Academy Awards for Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry, is said to have been enjoying South Island bush walks on a summer holiday.
Waititi posted a photo of her and the naughty piece of fruit in what appears to be Auckland Airport, along with a cheeky message.
"In 2005 this woman tried to smuggle an apple into New Zealand and we punished her with a $500 dollar fine. Three days ago I caught her trying to smuggle one of OUR apples out of our sweet island kingdom," Waititi said.
"No, crooked Hilary Swanky, homie don't play daaaaaaaaat. As New Zealander of the Year my job is to stop this BS and keep our apples in NZ hands. You played with the wrong playa gurl!"
Swank hasn't responded to the Instagram or Twitter post, but did share several pics from her jaunt around New Zealand.
