Lady Gaga has shocked fans by announcing she's cancelling the last shows of her Joanne tour, due to severe pain.

The 'Bad Romance' singer posted a statement to her Instagam page on Saturday (local time) announcing that she wouldn't be continuing the European leg of her tour.

There were 10 remaining shows scheduled in London, Manchester, Zurich, Koln, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin.

"Last night, with strong support from her medical team, Gaga made the tough decision to immediately come off the road. She is extremely sorry and deeply saddened that she cannot perform for her European fans, who have waited so patiently," the statement read.

Lady Gaga has been public about her battle with fibromyalgia in the past, which causes severe fatigue and chronic pain. She was forced to cancel a performance in Rio last year

The singer announced on Saturday "All I know is that if I don't do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. I promise I will be back in your city, but for now, I need to put myself and my well-being first."

Refunds for the cancelled shows will be available from February 6, according to the statement.
