Teenage 'human Barbie' reveals cost of looking 'plastic'

A teenager who describes herself as a "sexy human Barbie" has revealed she spends around NZD$1400 a month on procedures to keep her looking "plastic".

Gabriela Jirackova, 18, from Prague in the Czech Republic told the Daily Mail she regularly spends thousands of dollars on hair extensions, lip fillers and permanent makeup to make her feel "sexier".

"I don't believe in a natural look. I think there is hardly anything natural today," she explained.

"I spend three and a half hours every day getting ready. This lifestyle isn't easy at all. Maintaining my image is difficult in all its aspects, financially, physically and mentally too."

Daily Mail reports the teen started the transformation into a human Barbie when she was only 16, and recently had a NZD$4500 breast augmentation, which took her natural C-cup breasts augmented to a G-cup.

Jirackova says her look is inspired "by other real-life Barbies and also my Barbie dolls".

"I had plenty of them as a kid. When I saw the real-life Barbies I thought that it was something for me. I have always wanted to stand out and thought this would suit me."

While she uses her parents' money to pay for her surgeries, her mother says she respects her daughter's choice.

"I think that she is naturally pretty and even if she has some cosmetic procedures done I would respect that," says 53-year-old Romana Jirackova.

"She'll always be pretty, it's always going to be her. What's important is that she is going to be happy and fulfill her dream."
