An investigation into the identity of the person behind an anonymous Hollywood blog has revealed a strong argument in favour of actress and soon-to-be princess Meghan Markle.
'The Working Actress' was an anonymous blog detailing a nameless actress' struggle for work and fame.
"I've had to freeze my [acting] union membership, borrow money, work jobs that I hated, endure being treated like s**t on a set, kiss actors with smelly breath and cry for hours on end because I just didn't think I could take it anymore," one post read.
The blog was especially active in the late 2000s, and was then suspiciously deleted just as Ms Markle landed her role in Suits.
Now, The Daily Mail has cross-referenced other posts with Ms Markle's career and posited that she is the one who kept the online secret diary.
Ms Markle is not the first celebrity exposed for having an anonymous online alter ego. In June last year, Newshub revealed Lorde was running a secret Instagram account in which she reviewed onion rings she ate while on tour.

"I naively didn't realise that it would be a thing that I was going to different places and trying the onion rings at each of those places.
"It was a funny thing with my friends on tour."
