Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, meets Girl Scout who went viral singing 'Redbone'

Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert yesterday to chat about stardom, being raised Jehovah's Witness and the "awkward" nature of being a rapper.

The highlight of the interview came at the end though when Glover got to meet Charity, the young Girl Scout who went viral by singing his Awaken, My Love! single 'Redbone' to sell cookies.

Glover said the video, which has received more than 2.2 million views on Facebook, was "crazy".

"It's beautiful but it's also crazy to me," Glover told Colbert before meeting the internet star.

"I never was like, 'I'll make this and then one day a little girl will sell Girl Scout cookies to it.'"

Charity and her father then came out, giving the Atlanta star an order form to buy some cookies of his own. On learning that Charity needed to sell 113 boxes in order to meet her goal, Glover announced he'd buy them all - Thin Mints, of course.

At the end of the interview, Glover, Colbert and Charity passed out even more boxes of Thin Mints to the audience.

"Let's make some people happy," the late-night host said.
