Comedian Marlon Wayans has given fans a taste of some exciting news - he's considering making a sequel to 2004 comedy film White Chicks.

During a question and answer session on MTV's Total Request Live, one of the audience members asked Wayans whether White Chicks 2 would ever happen.

"I don't know but there's been some rumblings happening," he said.

"A lot of people want to see it so me and my brothers have been talking. If things go right, we hope to do White Chicks 2."

The Inquirer reports Sony was considering developing a possible sequel in 2009, but it was cancelled before filming began.  Later in 2015, Wayans teased fans on Instagram with the possibility of a sequel.

The original White Chicks is about two black FBI agents, played by Shawn and Marlon Wayans, who go undercover disguised as white teenagers Tiffany and Brittany Wilson to solve a case.

The two actors co-wrote and co-produced the film with their other brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans.
