Netflix has revealed the top 10 horror movies that were so scary, users couldn't finish them.

The criteria for the list was that the watcher made it through at least 70 percent of the film before chickening out and turning it off.

When you read the synopses for some of these films, you can see why they might have made the viewer squirm.

Cabin Fever (2016)

Five friends face the horrors of a flesh-eating disease while spending a weekend at a remote cabin in the woods.

Carnage Park (2016)

The 1970s-style thriller follows a failed bank robber and his hostage as they run from a psychotic sniper through the Californian desert.
