The woman who attacked Beyoncé, biting her on the face at a Los Angeles party, has allegedly been identified as actress Sanaa Lathan.
Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish is the source of the story that broke last week, but she stopped short of saying who the alleged biter was - triggering a great deal of internet gossip.
Page Six is now claiming to have confirmed Lathan as the person behind the famous bite - but she's denying it.
The gossip publication reports "numerous sources" told it the Love & Basketball star had been talking to Jay-Z backstage at the D'Usse VIP party after his show in Los Angeles in December, last year, when the incident happened.
Haddish alleged the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker also stopped her from getting violent retribution on the biter.
"So I said to Beyoncé, 'Did she really bite you?' She [Beyoncé] was like, 'Yeah'," she told GQ.
"I was like, 'She gonna get her ass beat tonight'. She was like, 'Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.'"
Beyoncé's representative told GQ she had "absolutely no comment" on the matter.
