Kanye West says he and John Legend have "agreed to disagree" about Donald Trump.

The two musicians had a political disagreement earlier in the week after West stormed Twitter with support for the US President.

Despite this, the pair hung out at a baby shower Kim Kardashian threw for Legend's wife, model and social media star Chrissy Teigen.

"We got love. Agree to disagree," West captioned a smiling selfie with Legend.

Earlier in the week, West posted texts from Legend on Twitter.

"I hope you'll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump. You're way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for" the 'All of Me' singer wrote to West.

"I love you John and I appreciate your thoughts. You bringing up my fans of my legacy is a tactic based on fear used to manipulate my free thought," West replied.
