Kate Hudson has announced she's having a third child in a gender reveal video posted to Instagram.
"SURPRISE!!!" she captioned the post, in which she pops black balloons to reveal pink confetti inside - signalling she'll be expecting her first daughter later this year, her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
"If you've wondered why I've been so absent on my social channels it's because I have never been more sick!
"It was the most sick first trimester of all my children.
"If you've seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing...I was lying!"
The actress says her, Fujikawa and her two sons are "crazy excited".
"We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I'm a poppin now!
"And it's too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it!"
Hudson's two sons come from two previous relationships.
She's been dating Fujikawa, former lead singer and guitarist for the LA-based folk rock band Chief, for just over a year.
