Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has poked fun at Avengers: Infinity War, releasing his own version of #ThanosDemandsYourSilence.

The directors of Avengers: Infinity War, Anthony and Joe Russo, adopted the hashtag before the film's release to deter fans - and importantly, Mark Ruffalo - from spreading spoilers.

A video of Ruffalo spoiling the plot for Avengers: Infinity War almost a year ago recently re-emerged - the clip shot long before the movie had come out.

Shortly before they film came out, the brothers tweeted a picture that showed a letter asking fans to avoid telling their fans what happens in the film ending.

Now, Reynolds has Instagrammed a picture of his own - and ripped off the Russo brothers almost word for word, with the addition of his own dry wit.

"To the greatest fans in the whole universe," it reads.

"We have embarked on the 'Deadpool 2: This is Kind of Your Guys' Fault' World Tour. Almost everyone involved in the film has given Maximum Effort the past two years, maintaining the highest level of super secrets, like how David Blaine catches bullets in his mouth. And the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in Colonel Sanders' delicious moustache.

"Only a handful of people know the film's true plot. One of them is not Ryan Reynolds. We're asking that when you see Deadpool 2, you don't say a f**king word about the fun shit in the movie. Cause it'd be super lame to spoil the fact that Deadpool dies in this one. Kidding. Not kidding. Kidding?

"Godspeed."

He's even thought up his own hashtag, although it's not as catchy as the original.

"#WadeWilsonDemandsYourSisterSorryStupidAutoCorrectSilence".
