It's no secret 15-year-old Kiwi actor Julian Dennison is not short on confidence - but his latest quip at the expense of a Hollywood A-lister shows just how sure of himself he actually is.
Currently promoting his new film Deadpool 2, the teen star has been doing a round of interviews.
During one with Australian breakfast show Today, the Hunt for the Wilderpeople star defended his Kiwi heritage - and took aim at Wellington-born Russell Crowe.

The comment came after host Sonia Kruger suggested that Australia is going to steal him in the same way they did with worldwide superstars Keith Urban and Crowe.
"You can keep Russell Crowe actually - but no, you're not stealing me, mate," he laughed.
Dennison's role in Deadpool 2 sees him star alongside Ryan Reynolds, who hand-picked him for the role after seeing him in Taika Waititi-directed Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
The up-and-coming actor says Reynolds is really caring and always made sure he was okay.
