Lorde's sister Indy Yelich-O'Connor has announced she "likes boys and girls" to her social media followers.

The teen is currently based in New York City, and attended The Grammys earlier this year with Kiwi songstress sister Ella Yelich-O'Connor, better known as Lorde.
Sharing an update with nearly 40,000 followers across Instagram and Twitter, Indy wrote:
"Plot twist (I like boys and girls)."
Indy, who has recently released a book of poetry called Sticky Notes, received a raft of praise, encouragement and support online in response to the tweet.
"Proud of you! Hopefully one day we'll live in a world where this won't be considered a plot twist," one tweet read.
"We welcome you, queen," read another comment.
The 19-year-old went on to thank fans and followers, writing, "today was so amazing".
"I had so many messages of support and the sun was shining, and I just love New York. So grateful for my life and all the people in it."
The young writer is planning a tour to promote her new poetry book, following in the footsteps of her mother Sonja Yelich, an award-winning New Zealand poet.
