At Boston Calling music festival over the weekend, Eminem asked the crowd "One more time, let me make sure so I can actually make this official... How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj?"
Following a roar of approval from the audience, the 'Lose Yourself' rapper replied: "Well God dammit, me too! Nicki if you get this message, just text me later, we'll talk about it."
Fans were sent into a 'will-they-won't-they' frenzy after Nicki posted an Instagram video promoting her new song 'Big Bank'.
The 'Starships' rapper drops Eminem's name, claiming to have "bagged an 'Em'", adding "Once he go black, he'll be back again..."
She seemingly confirmed the budding relationship in the comments, prompting Eminem to respond: "Girl, you know it's true..."
After a video of Eminem's concert confession was tweeted at her, Nicki started planning the duo's first date.
"LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... Love him so much," she tweeted.
"Em we need you on the #Queen album. That's where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse."
So, while it appears the two aren't entirely serious about being the next hip-hop power couple, there could at least be an exciting musical collaboration on the horizon.
