A sex party set to take place in Las Vegas next month hopes to be the "largest ever orgy in human history".

The world record attempt is being organised by Menage Life and plans to beat the current documented record, which was achieved in Japan in 2007.

That event saw 250 men and 250 women simultaneously going at it inside a large warehouse, all in front of cameras for an adult entertainment DVD.

Menage Life reckons they're going to "blow that number out of the water".

"Cum be a part of history," the website says.

"On Saturday June 2, 2018, join us at Sin City 8 as Menage Life attempts to break the world record for the largest orgy in human history... We are anticipating 1000-plus for this monumental event."

Participants don't have to pay to join the orgy, however they must have already paid to enter Sin City 8, which charges hundreds of dollars per ticket - and nobody will be allowed to enter alone.

"You must have a partner to participate in the world record attempt," says Menage Life.

"You can play just with them, or with whoever you want, providing there is established mutual consent. Anyone violating the consent of another guest will be ejected immediately, along with their entire group."

Sin City 8 is a five-day event that also promises pool parties, sex workshops, a dungeon, toy demos and a 'slut Olympics'.

Menage Life will offer orgy participants masquerade masks along with complimentary condoms, lube, hand towels and hand sanitiser.

A spokesperson for Guinness World Records said the organisation does not recognise or monitor this particular record.
