Dancing with the Stars NZ: Chris Harris gets 57 out of 60 across two routines

  • 24/06/2018

Former Black Cap Chris Harris has brought his A-game at just the right time on Dancing with the Stars NZ, earning three perfect 10s and three 9s across two performances in the show's semi-final.

The ex-cricketer, who sported some dramatic eyeliner in his first routine, stunned the studio audience with a theatrical rumba before setting the stage alight with a technically proficient quickstep.

The judges were left speechless at his rapid development throughout the competition.

"I am so excited about your journey more than anybody else's, because I literally cannot believe how you were leading Vanessa on the floor," head judge Camilla said.

"I mean, it was just magical - wow!"

Those sentiments were echoed by both Rachel and Julz.

"You are so deserving to be in the final next week!" Rachel said. "Your footwork was once again excellent... tremendous job."

Viewers can help keep their favourite dancer in the competition by texting their first name to 3333 - each text costs 99c and net proceeds go to that star's chosen charity.
