Dancing With The Stars NZ: Roger Farrelly takes another tumble

  • 18/06/2018

Roger Farrelly made headlines for his dramatic tumble on Dancing with the Stars NZ a few weeks ago, and Monday's episode saw him take another unfortunate fall.

He performed a Michael Jackson-inspired group dance with Shavaughn Ruakere and Jess Quinn, the three performing to the pop icon's 1987 hit 'Smooth Criminal'.

Part of the routine saw Farrelly attempt to imitate Jackson's famous gravity-defying lean, but the daring move proved too challenging for the radio host.

He overbalanced and wobbled forward, but was saved from total disaster by dancers Enrique Johns and Jonny Williams, who held onto his legs to prevent him face-planting.

Despite that precarious moment, the group received favourable comments from the judges and a very respectable score of 24.
