Ed Sheeran was forced to put his latest concert on pause - twice - to answer the call of nature.

The Grammy award winning singer had just performed his smash hit 'Galway Girl' when he told his fans he "needed a pee".

On his return, he told fans: "I've been gigging since I was 14 and I've never done that. And now I do it in front of 60,000 people".

But just three songs later, Sheeran stopped in the middle of 'Photograph' to take another bathroom break.

"I'm so sorry Cardiff," he exclaimed, before dashing off to handle his business.

The crowd patiently waited for Sheeran to finish, before cheering lustily as he returned. The 27-year-old then continued singing where he left off.

Fans saw the funny side to his toilet trouble, with many taking to social media to poke fun at the pop singer's bladder.
