Kim Kardashian 'cried, screamed' over Kanye's slavery comments

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her emotional response to husband Kanye West controversially calling 400 years of slavery "a choice".

The rapper made the claim during a visit to TMZ's headquarters last month, in which he also talked about having liposuction, plastic surgery and becoming "drugged the f**k out" on opioids.

"Did I talk about it? Did I scream about it? Did I cry about it? Did I fight about it? Yeah," Kim told Entertainment Tonight at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards.

"Yeah, we have different views sometimes, but that's my husband, you know?"

In a new song from Kanye entitled 'Wouldn't Leave', he details her panic following the scandal.

Kanye raps: "My wife callin', screamin', say, 'We 'bout to lose it all!' / Had to calm her down 'cause she couldn't breathe".

Despite her husband's decision to air the couple's dirty laundry in his lyrics, she confessed she really likes the song.

Kim explained she's normally in the room during Kanye's recording process, but the rapper scrapped the entire album and started from scratch two weeks before the release.

"That was the one song that he didn't really play for me until the last minute... it meant a lot to me," she said.

Kanye also addresses his addiction to prescription drugs on his new album, Ye.
