English comedian Michael McIntyre has reportedly been mugged by masked robbers on scooters who smashed up his Range Rover in the attack.
The 42-year-old funnyman was picking up his 10-year-old son from school when the terrifying incident occurred.
In photos published online of the aftermath, McIntyre can be seen hugging his son, talking to police and leaning into the Range Rover, which has a smashed driver's seat window.
According to the Daily Mail, the child was in the vehicle at the time, and Michael reportedly got out of the car and attempted to fight off the robbers.
They made off with his watch, which The Sun reports was valued at £5,000 (NZ$9500) - but the Daily Mail says was a Rolex worth £15,000 (NZ$28,400).
McIntyre has an estimated net worth of NZ$72 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.
He's returning to New Zealand next year to perform in Auckland and Christchurch.
