More FM Breakfast host Simon Barnett's return has been delayed so he can care for his wife Jodi as her radiation therapy starts.
In an emotional on-air interview last week in which he gave an update on Jodi's health, Simon said he was hoping to get back to co-hosting the show after Queen's Birthday Weekend.
However, it's now been pushed back.
"Since Simon's on-air interview last week, Jodi's doctors have given her a start date of Tuesday, June 5 for treatment. Simon's return to More FM will therefore be delayed," a spokesperson for More FM said.
"The team are giving Simon the time to be with Jodi during this difficult time."

Simon has been on extended leave since Jodi was diagnosed with lesions on the brain, earlier this year.
She underwent successful surgery, however her doctors have advised that she needs to undergo radiation therapy every day for six weeks, followed by chemotherapy for six months.
Although he said he was looking forward to getting back to working on the More FM Breakfast, Simon announced in 2017 that he would be leaving the role permanently at the end of this year.
