Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams has told her fans she's "proudly" seeking help for her mental health.
The 37-year-old has previously spoken about being depressed, and wrote on Twitter she hopes to be an example to others.
"Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need," she said.
She's had messages of support from other artists, including Missy Elliott.
"I want to lift our sis up in prayer because there are so many people battling this & many trying to deal with it alone," Elliot wrote.
"Please No jokes this is REAL & as human beings let's keep the ones who are openly dealing with it uplifted and be encouraging to them."
