Kate Middleton and Prince William share candid moment from Prince Louis' christening

The Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge have released an extra, candid image from the celebration of Prince Louis' christening.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined Prince Charles and Camilla alongside Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and their three children for the formal photos at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace then released an additional image that shows Kate smiling, holding Louis in the garden as he giggles at something off-camera.

The photo was taken by Matt Porteous, who according to royal reporter Rebecca English, was "at the christening as a 'private' photographer."

He reportedly was only supposed to be taking pictures for the family's "personal album," English said in a tweet.

"But William and Kate liked this shot of Louis so much that they decided to release it publicly."

Kensington Palace's twitter account captioned the adorable moment: "The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do."

Prince Louis appears to be fast asleep in many of the formal portraits of the Royal Family, with the latest image giving the public a first look at Louis awake and grinning.
