Controversial rapper Tekashi69 has reportedly been robbed at gunpoint and left with a bruised face after being pistol whipped.
The 'Gummo' hitmaker, also known as 6ix9ine and whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is said to be currently recovering in hospital.

Tekashi69 handed over US$750,000 worth of jewellery and US$15,000 - US$20,000 in cash to the thieves, according to reports.
Gossip website TMZ has two different accounts of what happened - both include two or three gunmen attacking Tekashi69, forcing him into their car and taking cash and jewellery from his home.
TMZ says it has two stories because "Tekashi has bragged that people don't mess with him. The version he told his people make him look harder than the version he told cops. You be the judge, but it seems pretty easy to figure this one out."
Tekashi69 has had several run-ins with the law, including being involved with videoing a sexual act with an underage girl and publishing it online.
On October 20, 2015, he pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
