Over US$2000 has been raised in a bid to help Kylie Jenner increase her US$900 million fortune to a cool $1 billion.

Earlier this month, Instagram comedian The Fat Jewish created a GoFundMe page for the reality TV star, after she was named on Forbes' list of 'America's Richest Self-Made Women'.

"I don't want to live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn't have a billion dollars," he wrote to his 10.5 million followers - before switching to all-caps.

"WE MUST RAISE 100 MILLION DOLLARS TO HELP HER GET TO A BILLION, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD, THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT."

Known for his controversial humour, it seems obvious The Fat Jewish created the crowd-funding page as a joke - but that hasn't stopped well over 100 people donating to the cause.

At the time of writing, the campaign is trending on the GoFundMe website, and has received US$2153 in donations from 171 people.

Contributions have been steadily trickling in since the page was created 18 days ago, with the most recent offering appearing earlier today.

The largest sum paid so far is US$500, given by LickVIP - a YouTube channel that boasts an interview with Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian at a nightclub nine years ago.

Forbes claimed 20-year-old Kylie would soon take the title of "youngest self-made billionaire ever" from Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg, who made his first billion at 23.
