Three new books based on the magical world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts are set to be released this October.

Published by illustrated books specialist Insight Editions, the books have no connection to J.K. Rowling's previous classics.

In 2016 Rowling told The Guardian she was done with making anymore Harry Potter books, but that hasn't stopped others from continuing the legacy.

The first to be released on October 2 is Harry Potter - Creatures: A Paper Scene Book, based on the creatures battled in the film. It's set to include dioramas and behind the scenes information about the scenes.

The next one on October 23, Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Guide to Hogwarts follows on October 23, by top selling pop-up artist Matthew Reinhart. The book is said to be interactive with location guides and maps to the Forbidden Forest and Quidditch Pitch.

Lastly on October 30, Harry Potter - Imagining Hogwarts: A Beginner's Guide to Moviemaking, written by Bryan Michael Stoller will be released. The book is based on moviemaking and said it will teach kids about the film's creation and how to make one themselves.

All books are already available for pre-order on Amazon and cost NZD$188 for all three.
