Abby Lee Miller, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year, has reportedly been told "there is a chance she may never walk again".

According to E! News, a source says the Dance Moms star is vowing to beat the "bleak" prognosis that comes with her cancer of the lymph nodes.

"She has been open about her diagnosis with her close friends who are in awe of Abby Lee's fighting spirit," the source said.

"Her inner circle is rallying around her with support and regular visits."

Miller was released from prison in March this year, after serving time for bankruptcy fraud.

She was diagnosed with cancer shortly after, and has since been documenting her battle with the illness on social media.

Over the last week, the dance instructor has uploaded two images to her Instagram page which show her smiling, while wheelchair-bound.

"Hallelujah! I'm headed to the mall!" she captioned one photo.

"I've only been once in 13 long painful months. For a lifelong shopper like me that's absolute torture!"

Miller has previously shared updates from her hospital bed, detailing spinal surgery, lumbar punctures and chemotherapy.

The E! News source also said that the reality TV personality has been filming the entire process for an upcoming "televised cancer special".
