The Bachelor Australia: Brooke's ex Blake Colman slammed as 'gross' for saying she 'turned full lesbian'

The Bachelor Australia season six contestant Brooke Coleman's ex is frantically back-peddling after telling his followers she "turned full lesbian" while they were dating.

After much hype around her so-called "urgent revelation", Brooke revealed to Bachelor Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins that she had previously dated two women.

Nick said he "wasn't worried", but Brooke's ex Blake - who himself was once a contestant on The Bachelorette Australia - decided to weigh in on her sexuality.

"Is now the right time to tell you that I was dating Brooke during the exact moment she decided to turn full lesbian?" he wrote on social media the day after the episode aired in Australia.

"I literally have no hope with women," Blake continued.

"Just for the record, she is a dope chick and a really good human. But guys, you have not felt pain and confusion until a girl leaves you for a girl."

Blake's comments sparked outrage online, and saw him labelled a "gross human".

"Poor little guy and his hurt little ego because he can't understand that sexuality is fluid," said one commenter.

"Imagine how shattered his fragile masculinity was when he realised she had not 'gone full lesbian' and it was just that he sucked," read another.

Now, he's claiming his comments were taken "out of context".

"She decided to turn gay, at that point in time she obviously was figuring things out as any woman or man should at that age," he said in a new Instagram post.

"She is bi, everyone should get over it."

Blake also argues that he can't be homophobic, because he has gay friends.

"I have so many friends in the gay community it's not even funny, hence why my comments are not a big deal unless you are homophobic."

During her admission to Nick, Brooke went to great lengths to clarify that she wasn't "a bisexual or a lesbian or anything like that".
