A US man was shot by police outside an Ice Cube concert on Sunday after firing at a crowd of concert-goers, apparently upset he missed out on a ticket.
The 22-year-old man, identified by the San Diego sheriff's department as Daniel Elizarraras of Escondidio, had gone to a ticket window Sunday evening at the Del Mar Fairgrounds venue where rapper Ice Cube was due to perform.
But an "argument ensued" when the man became upset after he was told no more tickets were available for purchase, the Los Angeles Times reports. He then pulled out a silver plated semi-automatic handgun and "fired several shots into the crowd".

Footage uploaded to Instagram by a witness shows crowds of people fleeing the scene after several gunshots can be heard, with someone yelling, "Move, move!"
There have been no reports of anyone in the crowd being injured.
Police engaged with the man by returning fire, the sheriff's department said in a statement. He was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla after being shot and the sheriff's office said he's "expected to survive".
The concert drew around 18,000 people, according to the LA Times, and was part of the 2018 Del Mar Summer Concert Series.
