Cardi B under fire for 'sickening, evil' video telling haters to commit suicide

Cardi B has come under fire for telling her haters they should kill themselves during an Instagram live video addressing abuse her sister, Hennessey Carolina, allegedly recieved online.

The 'Bodak Yellow' rapper went into graphic detail while discussing different ways in which online "trolls" should commit suicide or serious self harm during the broadcast.

"If you're a grown ass woman or a grown ass man on the comments talking shit... you need a f**king life," she said.

During her rant, Cardi B paused to respond to somebody off-camera who seemed to be telling her to stop.

"Nah, my bad," she said.

"I know, I know. I shouldn't be talking, but it's just like, you know how I get when people f**king start with Henessy."

After the rapper suggested a second method of sucide, the off-camera person got her attention again, to which she responded: "Nah, I don't give a f**k!"

Both Cardi B and her sister Henessy are reportedly being targeted by fans of Nicki Minaj, as the on-going feud between the hip hop stars rages on.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Henessy insinuated that Nicki had leaked Cardi's personal phone number to her fans who sent "death threats" to the rapper.

Reposting a clip from the live stream, celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton called Cardi out for her comments.

"I love Cardi B BUT... I find it so disheartening that she is REPEATEDLY encouraging people who talk smack about her sister to commit suicide," he said.

"There is no way to justify this! None!"

Opinions were divided in the comments section, with many agreeing that Cardi's words were irresponsible and offensive.

"Telling people to commit suicide is just evil," one Instagram user wrote. Another called her behaviour "sickening".

Still, some fans defended the 26-year-old's position.

"When a person is upset and hurt they may say things and not realise the intensity it may bring," one comment read.

In August, Cardi B was caught on video apparently hurling a shoe at Nicki Minaj as tensions came to a head at New York Fashion Week. Earlier this month, she was charged with assault and reckless endangerment for a fight at a strip club in which two women were injured.
