Hitman 2 game features murder on a Hawke's Bay beach

Players of upcoming game Hitman 2 will be able to assassinate people on a Hawke's Bay beach, according to the latest trailer.

The next game in the popular Hitman franchise continues the saga of Agent 47 as he kills people at exotic locations around the globe.

The North Island region has been revealed as a game location alongside the likes of Mumbai, Miami, Santa Fortuna, Himmelstein and the Isle of Sgàil.

In the video, the Hawke's Bay setting appears to be showcased in multiple different shots, all on a beach at night. They include one man shooting another down and Agent 47 walking away from a ute as it explodes, with a few guards standing around it.
