Pop star Stan Walker is set to return to the stage after cancelling his last tour because his mum was diagnosed with cancer, which was then followed by his own diagnosis.
A year after having an operation to remove his cancerous stomach, the singer has confirmed that he is fit, healthy and ready to tour again.

He will perform 12 shows in New Zealand for his New Takeover Tour, starting in Queenstown on October 25.
The tour will end in Auckland on November 17.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the University of Otago Centre for Transitional Cancer Research.
Walkers' family has a CDH1 hereditary mutation, which means they have an 80 percent chance of developing stomach cancer.
It was touch and go for a while, with some serious complications along the way which made him think he may never get to sing again.
However, Walker told The AM Show in August that his voice is probably stronger and better than it was before.
"It took me a while to get used to it, because it's like operating a new machine. I have to sing a little bit different. But I can do things that I couldn't do before," Walker said.
