Kate Middleton reportedly 'left in tears' after bridesmaid fitting for Meghan Markle's wedding

While rumours of tensions between Princes Harry and William swirl, reports now claim there's been a strain on Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's relationship, too.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a source told royal reporter Camilla Tominey that Kate was "left in tears" by Meghan in the lead-up to this year's royal wedding.

Tominey says she was told "Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional" at the time of the bridesmaids' dress fitting for her daughter Princess Charlotte.

While it's not clear what upset the Duchess Of Cambridge, another source told the Telegraph the two women have opposing temperaments.

"[They're] very different women, despite their similar circumstances," the source said.

"Meghan is an extrovert, whereas Kate is quite shy."

Meghan and Kate have made several public appearances together, including one without their husbands at Wimbledon earlier this year.

The latest whispers of discontent between them come days after it was revealed Harry and Meghan backed out on plans to live as neighbours to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Instead of moving next to William and Kate in Kensington Palace, the recently married couple are headed to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where they will welcome their new baby next year.
