Scribe posts cryptic Instagram message asking for mysterious delivery

Kiwi rapper Scribe has taken to Instagram with a cryptic message that addresses drug use and asks for a secretive delivery.

The 39-year-old, whose real name is Malo Ioane Luafutu, was recently released from prison and granted electronically-monitored bail after breaching a police curfew from previous offences.

In the Instagram post, Scribe shares a message he says he has sent to every contact in his phone, in order to remove himself from a "toxic environment".

"I don't say real talk coz [sic] everything I say is real, but real talk... I'm clean off drugs and I like it," he wrote.

"I love you all and I'm not ever one to judge but please don't bring any over.

"I know you hate puffing without me coz I'm so much fun, and I appreciate the offers, but I'm in a good place and working on something to make you real proud of me."

The 'Not Many' hitmaker was found guilty of possessing methamphetamine earlier this year, and spent three months in rehab in 2017.

Confusingly, Scribe also used the social media post to ask for people to bring him a mysterious delivery, blanking out a few crucial words.

"Bring me some [blank] though... anytime," he wrote.

"Unless you see my [blank] outside... he doesn't like people. Lol. Love you."

The subject of drug use was also highlighted in an earlier post by the rapper, in which he shared the lyrics to a song titled 'Time Of Your Life (2025)'.

"This is for all the nights we ain't get the invite/had to stand outside getting drunk and passing pipes," one line read.

Scribe has continued to receive messages of support from his over 10,000 followers, some of whom are imploring him to stay strong in his recovery.

"For the love of god, please leave the drugs, alcohol etc. You are New Zealand's greatest rapper," one Instagram user wrote.

"Thanks man... I'm trying," Scribe responded.

He will reappear in court on December 13 on a breach of protection order charge.
