Beloved Kiwi rockers Six60 has rocked the 2018 Vodafone New Zealand Music Award (VNZMA) ceremony with a performance of their hit 'Don't Give It Up'.

The band is nominated in multiple categories at the awards, including Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Best Group.

Six60 was nominated for Best Group alongside Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Drax Project and Alien Weaponry.

It's proving to be a huge year for the band, which became the first ever Kiwi group to sell out Auckland's iconic Western Springs Stadium.

The five-piece sold 50,000 tickets for their upcoming February 2019 gig in September, just 10 weeks after it went on sale.

'Don't Give Up' is one of the five-piece's many singles to be certified double platinum by Recorded Music NZ, along with 'Rise Up 2.0', 'Forever' and 'White Lines'. 'Only to Be' and 'Special' are certified triple platinum, while 'Don't Forget Your Roots' is certified quadruple platinum.

Other performers at the 2018 VNZMAs include Alien Weaponry, Drax Project, Robinson, Jess B, Sons of Zion and Che Fu.
