Dunedin rockers Six60 have claimed the prestigious Best Group honour at the 2018 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs).
The 'Don't Give It Up' hitmakers are up for multiple awards, including Album of the Year and Single of the Year.
Six60 was nominated for Best Group alongside Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Drax Project and Alien Weaponry.
It's proving to be a huge year for the band, which became the first ever Kiwi group to sell out Auckland's iconic Western Springs Stadium.
The five-piece sold 50,000 tickets for their upcoming February 2019 gig in September, just 10 weeks after it went on sale.
Western Springs has hosted dozens of beloved international artists over the years, including the Rolling Stones, Eminem, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Genesis, Guns N' Roses, the Bee Gees, Electric Light Orchestra, Deep Purple, Bruce Springsteen and R.E.M.
Six60 also performed live at the 2018 VNZMAs.
