Tekashi69, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj targeted in drive-by shooting - report

The set of a Tekashi69, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj video has been involved in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles where at least eight shots were fired.

No one was injured in the attack.

Tekashi69, who has pleaded guilty to a child sex offence, hired a US$80 million Beverly Hills estate for the video, but following the shooting production has been put to an immediate halt.

According to TMZ, the dressing room that was supposed to be Nicki Minaj's was hit, with one bullet going through the window. Fortunately, the 'Anaconda' hitmaker wasn't present.

The room was reportedly supposed to be Tekashi69's, but he offered it to Minaj as it was the biggest room in the house.

Kanye was reportedly at the house when the shooting took place, but left shortly after before tweeting that he was safe.

It's been a tough week for the Kardashian-West clan, which has also been made to evacuate its Calabassas home as California wildfires continue to threaten the area.

The shooting is the second Tekashi69 has been involved in over the last month.

At a dinner following his October 26 sentencing for unlawful use of a minor in a sexual performance, Tekashi69's bodyguard was shot four times while positioned outside the restaurant the rapper was at. He's said to be in a stable condition.

After uploading a video of himself with a 13-year-old in a sexual situation, Tekashi69 was facing jail time and registration as a sex offender. However, he managed to walk away with four years' probation and a promise that he would finish his GED.

He was also arrested for choking a 16-year-old in Houston and said to be involved in shootings with rappers Casanova and Chief Keef.

Despite his legal troubles, Tekashi69 is still being celebrated as a cultural icon. Former New Zealand Prime Minister's son, Max, was one of the countless people around the world who dressed as the rapper for Halloween.

Neither Minaj or Tekashi69 have commented on the shooting yet.
